Ok. Please follow the notes which were presented in this thread. I will upload an updated version today which includes all the changes that have been made during the last week or so. Base your translations on this updated file, please.

Update (22nd October):
The Italian translation is now supervised by tof63 and mauro instead of johngwaldie.
Update (5th November):
The Spanish translation is free for others to make as Sagman is not responding. A Russian translation is currently in the works by Пингвин Рельсовый ("Penguin Rail").

Very well, joseag. If you use the most recent English language file, then there is only the first post in this thread which you should take into account.

I've already started translating openBVE into Dutch (only I didn't mention it here, so I do it now). If Michelle is interested, I can also translate the site.
I'm expecting to "release" a Dutch language file this week.
@mechanik - I'm sorry I've already started the translation without mentioning it.

@mechanik, trizz:
Get in contact with each other and exchange your translations, make corrections etc. and then decide on a final version. In the case you can't cooperate, I tend to accept mechanik's version (if any), because mechanik announced making a translation here first. The file to be translated is language_en.cfg (English) and should be called language_nl.cfg.
Two question though:
1) What is the name of "Dutch" in the Dutch language itself?
2) In which countries is the language usually spoken (in the specific dialect you are making the translation in)?

That's ok with me. I'll try to contact mechanik. In case there will be no cooperation, I'll send you my file anyway, then you can decide yourself which file you choose.
To answer your questions:
1) The name is: "Nederlands"
2) My file is translated into "official" Dutch. We have several dialects such as Flemish or "Fries" (that's a province) but I have translated it into official Dutch, without using any dialects. Everyone who speaks Dutch (or a Dutch dialect) will understand the translation, as the differences are not that big.
/edit: it seems that mechanik is from Belgium. The language there is also Dutch (at least the northern part of Belgium), but as mentioned before, we call their "dialect" Flemish. Don't know if there is much difference in it, but maybe it's an idea to create two different languages. For the ISO code's are NL-nl and NL-be.

That would be fine by me. Let's see what the two of you are going to produce...

Spanish: I have a lost track of who was going to make a Spanish translation but backed out of it, who is working on one or has already finished one. So, whoever hands in a translation first, their translation will be made available.
Dutch: There will be either one translation or two regional variants, depending on feedback from mechanik and trizz.
I can accept files only via email; attachments in PMs are disabled as they don't work for unknown reasons. I also ask all of the other translators to review their files carefully for any additions that were made in the past weeks but were not yet translated.

Well, as a dutch openBVE user I can say that one translation will definately be enough. Everyone who speaks a "dialect" here in Holland, also understands the common dutch that we all speak. Therefore, it's really not necessary to have two versions of a Dutch translation.
If needed, i could help working on the translation.
