I want to build the skitube line, which contains 3 stations, and it is a real route in the snowy mountains in Australia. The problem is that I don't how to build a train that is powerful enough to get me up the 12.5% gradient. Any help?

Re: Ski tube rack railway

According to Wikipedia:The line is a rack railway using trainsets with 1200 kW per motive unit. Being a rack railway the train will roll, acceleration and decelerate roughly normally, but it is impossible to skid or wheelslip. In the 'train.dat' it should be enough to set the 'CoefficientOfStaticFriction' to an large/infinite value (second line within the '#PERFORMANCE' section);

How is the power of a train calculated? eg the power of 357 is 1.37, power of s set is about 0.96
How is this calculated, and where can it be changed?
