OpenTK instead of Tao

I've just been working on my coursework for Uni and have noticed that OpenTK is a much nicer, more up-to-date C# to OpenGL/OpenAL, I just wondered if it had been considered for OpenBVE, if needed I could port over to it and compare framerates and such like, it'd also allow usage of OpenGL 3.1 things too.

Any thoughts?
